Trust in God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit (The Holy Trinity)

"When I came to you, brothers and sisters,
proclaiming the mystery of God,
I did not come with sublimity of words or of wisdom.
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you
except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
I came to you in weakness and fear and much trembling,
and my message and my proclamation
were not with persuasive words of wisdom,
but with a demonstration of spirit and power,
so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom
but on the power of God" 1 Cor 2:1-5
Reviewing the Missal for today, I stumbled upon that first quote which begins the section for 1 September 2008. This teaches a great lesson as the missal always does. The teaching of men cannot truly display the power of God. Trust not what a man may teach you, but trust in the word of God, the truth. People should always trust other people, but when people fail them as that happens many times, do not lose trust. Trust in the person may be lost, but you can still have faith in God. When all has left you, God still remains. No one truly ever walks alone, as God always is there, Jesus is always there, the Holy Spirit is always there. Despite the circumstances, the Holy Trinity is always there for every person. Abandoned by your friends, abandoned by your family, NEVER abandoned by the Holy Trinity
